UPGRADED PRIMARY CLUTCH FEATURES: This P90XT clutch comes with the same heavy-duty proven design that came on the 2016-2020 RZR Turbo stock. It does away with the failure-prone casting flaws that are known to cause the P90X clutch (that came stock on the Pro XP models) to explode at high RPMs. Another huge improvement with this P90XT-type clutch is its ability to hold more belt grip without slipping at higher RPMs, which keeps the power on the ground. This also greatly prolongs the life of the belt by keeping the friction and temperature down. By keeping the RPMs down, it avoids hitting the rev limiter at full throttle which eliminates the chance of your engine light coming on and forcing it into limp mode. The only downfall to these and all the P90XT clutches in general, is not a performance issue but a sound issue. They tick at idle and it is very noticeable if you start it up with the plastic cover off. The reason they tick is due to the design, the spider moves freely in the main basket instead of having buttons which causes them to tick at idle. However, the sound fades away once you give it a little throttle.
UPGRADED SECONDARY FEATURES: Secondary clutch updates includes the improvements made to the oem lower sheaves housing equivalent to oem part number 1323789. It replaces the problematic early 2020 part numbers 1323780, 1323781, and 1323782
STIFFER SECONDARY CLUTCH SPRINGS IMPORTANCE FOR IMPROVED BELT GRIP: The stock Polaris Pro XP secondary came with a relatively weak spring considering the amount of horsepower they produce which often leads to problems with belt glazing and eventually RPM surging and belt slipping which ruins belts repeatedly and hurts performance. Our secondary comes with a stiffer spring pre-installed, which provides the much-needed increased belt grip which fights against belt slip both while under a load such as mud or hills and in full-throttle situations. This also helps run larger tires without slipping/smoking your belts.

The 2021-2022 OEM bottom half of the secondary clutch had a helix issue which was fixed with a superseded new part number in 2023. This clutch has the updated 2023+ helix. Lastly, we pre-installed a stiffer than stock spring for increased belt grip (more on spring below).

PRIMARY CLUTCH IMPROVEMENTS: This is a P90XT clutch with the same heavy-duty design that comes on the previous 2016-2020 RZR Turbo. It does away with the failure-prone casting flaws that the P90X clutch that came on the 2021 models and replaces it with a more proven design that can handle more horsepower and still not fail.
To swap to the primary clutch you need the P90X puller tool to remove the stock clutch and a different length mounting bolt to put in the new P90XT clutch. Both are included.
The only downfall on this style primary has nothing to do with the function of it, but rather a sound. They tick at idle (when under 2200 rpm) by design for the same reason the OEM RZR Turbo clicks at idle. It is because the spider moves freely in the clutch basket by design, unlike the 2021 OEM clutch that it's replacing.
SECONDARY CLUTCH IMPROVEMENTS: The 2021 OEM bottom half of the secondary had a helix issue which was fixed with a superseded newer OEM helix part number. This includes the updated style helix for that already in the secondary clutch as well.
STIFFER SECONDARY SPRING FOR IMPROVED BELT GRIP: The stock secondary came with a relatively weak spring considering the amount of horsepower they produce which often leads to problems with belt glazing and eventually RPM surging and belt slipping which ruins belts and hurts performance. Our secondary comes with a stiffer spring pre-installed, which provides the much-needed increased belt grip, which fights against belt slip both while under a load such as mud or hills and in full-throttle situations.
