EBS SYSTEM: has over 40%EBS reduction from the oem clutch, meaning it stops your 2017 Ranger 1000 from throwing you forward In your seat, or harshly automatically slowing down when you let off the gas between 5-15mph like the Oem secondary does. The Helix in this one is good for people not crazy about heavy/ strong engine braking. It has mild but usable EBS in low gear, and just really light / not really noticeable EBS in high gear.

UPDATED FEATURES:
There are three critical areas improved on this clutch compared to the problematic OEM secondary that the listed models came with. First, the stock main housing was weak and hard to balance. This has a reinforced lip on the main housings outer sheave as seen in the last picture which provided us with a better place that we pre-balanced it, and also that reinforced lip added strength to the clutch.
Second, the stock setup was plagued with engine braking issues that are known to eat belts and then eventually the clutches. The fix for that is the included reduced EBS slope in the helix that provides a noticeably milder but still usable engine braking in low gear when you let off the throttle.
Last but not least, the stock machine came with some tiny tires. If or when going up in tire size it's important to add more belt grip for it not to be harder on your CVT belt with the bigger tires. This comes with a 30lb stiffer than stock spring and a steeper helix slope already in it for maximum belt grip for if you did decide to put on some bigger tires (still works well with stock tires also).

Mother Clutcher Primary and Secondary complete clutch upgrade for 2021 Polaris Ranger 1000 XP.
This P90XT clutch has the same heavy-duty design that comes on the 2016-2020 RZR Turbo. This is also a lot smoother engaging clutch on take-off. It does away with the failure-prone P90X clutch that came on the Ranger and replaces it with a more proven design that can handle more than double the Ranger 1000 Horsepower and still not fail.
To swap to this clutch you only need the P90X puller tool to get the stock one off, plus the new mounting bolt. BOTH are included.
This P90XT upgraded primary clutch will get you in the slightly higher rpm power band you want for performance if using on medium to fast-paced trail riding or for sport. The low and and mid throttle rpms stay comparable to stock while full throttle gets 200-300 rpms higher.
The only downfall on these has nothing to do with the function of it, but rather a sound. They tick at idle (when under 2200 rpm) by design for the same reason the OEM RZR Turbo clicks at idle. It is because the spider moves freely in the clutch basket by design, unlike the OEM clutch that it's replacing.
The secondary clutch comes complete, pre-balanced and pre-tuned with correct helix and spring already installed.
