This P90XT upgrade lets the engine rev up a little higher than the oem did (about 300-400 rpm higher at full throttle). This is also a lot smoother engaging clutch on take-off.
This P90XT clutch has the same heavy-duty design that comes on the 2016-2020 RZR Turbo. It does away with the failure-prone P90X clutch that came on the Ranger and replaces it with a more proven design that can handle more than double the Ranger 1000 Horsepower and still not fail.
To swap to this clutch you only need the P90X puller tool to get the stock one off, plus the new mounting bolt. BOTH are included in this listing.
This will get you in the slightly higher rpm power band you want for performance if using on medium to fast pace trail riding or for sport.
The only downfall on these has nothing to do with the function of it, but rather a sound. They tick at idle (when under 2200 rpm) by design for the same reason the OEM RZR Turbo clicks at idle. It is because the spider moves freely in the clutch basket by design, unlike the OEM clutch that it's replacing.
2018 FITMENT: IN 2018 POLARIS DID A SPLIT YEAR and it FITS the NON CREW models in 2018. In 2018 it fits XP, Northstar single cab, but NOT CREW models in 2018. If you got a 2018 the part number this clutch replaces is the ones that came with 1323397.

Mother Clutcher new original spec EBS primary clutch and tied-type upgrade secondary clutch and puller tool for 2016+ General 1000. This can also be used to add engine braking to General 1000 XP as the XP models that originally didn't come with EBS.
The EBS primary clutch comes pre-tuned with weights and spring pre-installed and ready to bolt on and use. Our primary clutches have had exclusive upgrades to the critical wear components to make sure they meet the quality of the original primary clutch.
The secondary clutch is an upgrade to a true "tied type" clutch to bolt-on and replace the BOSS-style secondary that originally came on all 2016+ GENERAL 1000 models (all packages). The secondary comes with helix and spring pre-installed and with correct splines in them to bolt-on and run on ALL 2016-current Polaris General models including 2 seats, 4 seaters, S and XP. The set also has improved engine braking, more details on that below.
For the first time, the secondary clutch comes with round rollers pre-installed instead of square pucks!
EBS SPECS (Engine Braking Specs): The downhill engine braking on this set is still there but smoother than what came originally on the 2016+ General non-XP models. This secondary helix will give noticeably more consistent downhill slow down when letting off the gas pedal between 5-18mph its not as prone to kick in and out / engage and release like the original secondary did. It has more engine braking than what came on the XP General models.
IMPROVEMENTS OF THE SECONDARY CLUTCH: this is a true Tied style design that replaces the slightly weaker BOSS design they came with. It came oem on a select few of the 2014-2018 Ranger 900 XP and can be used as a replacement on those, OR it can be used to add additional 0-5mph engine braking on models that didn't come with it. If you add it to a model that originally had a 2 way bearing it will add additional slow down when you let off the gas pedal between 1-5 mph. If your main goal is to add engine breaking when over 5mph that comes from the secondary clutch. UPGRADED FEATURES: This P90XT clutch comes with the same heavy-duty proven design that came on the 2016-2020 RZR Turbo stock. It does away with the failure-prone casting flaws that are known to cause the P90X clutch (that came stock on the Pro XP models) to explode at high RPMs. Another huge improvement with this P90XT-type clutch is, its ability to hold more belt grip without slipping at higher RPMs. Which keeps the power on the ground. This also greatly prolongs the life of the belt by keeping the friction and temperature down. By keeping the RPMs down, it avoids hitting the rev limiter at full throttle which eliminates the chance of your engine light coming on and forcing it into limp mode.The only downfall to these and all the P90XT clutches is not a performance issue, but a sound issue. They tick at idle and it is very noticeable if you start it up with the plastic cover off. The reason they tick is due to the design, the spider moves freely in the main basket instead of having buttons which causes them to tick at idle. However, the sound fades away once you give it a little throttle.

The EBS primary clutch comes pre-tuned with weights and spring pre-installed and ready to bolt on and use. Our primary clutches have had exclusive upgrades to the critical wear components to make sure they meet the quality of the original primary clutch.
The secondary clutch is an upgrade to a true "tied type" clutch to bolt-on and replace the BOSS-style secondary that originally came on all 2016+ RZR 900 models (all packages). The secondary comes with helix and spring pre-installed and with correct splines in them to bolt-on and run on ALL 2016-2022 Polaris RZR 900 including 2 seats, 4 seaters, and S and Trail editions. The set also has improved engine braking, more details on that below.
For the first time, the secondary clutch comes with round rollers instead of square pucks.
EBS SPECS (Engine Braking Specs): The downhill engine braking on this set is also smoother than what came originally on the 2016+ RZR 900. The primary is the one-way bearing like what came in all the 900 trial models and many 900-S models as well. This set does not get rid of the engine braking from 0-18mph but makes it more usable. The original setup was a little intense and yanked when the clutch braking kicked in (especially in low gear if you let off gas between 6-10 mph). This reduces that just a little down to a usable medium to moderate amount of engine braking that comes in steady but more smooth and consistently than the original setup.
IMPROVEMENTS on the secondary clutch: this is a true Tied style design that replaces the slightly weaker BOSS design they came with. This is the same style of clutch that came on the 2014-15 XP 1000's and other higher-end XP models throughout the years. This Tied design has been around a long time and is very well-proven. Upgrading your secondary means less belt/clutch issues, better clutch consistency and performance, and superior performance for the long haul.

RZR TURBO XP /S (2021 only) HD Performance Primary Clutch Upgrade

Mounts up and works on 2021 Polaris RZR TURBO XP. The weights in this are ONLY for 2021 TURBO XP AND S (NOT FOR PRO XP MODELS)
IMPROVEMENTS: This P90XT clutch design is a lot smoother engaging clutch on take-off and does away with the problematic weak casting issues that came on the stock primary clutch.
This is a P90XT clutch with the same heavy-duty design that comes on the previous 16-20 RZR Turbo. It does away with the failure-prone casting flaws that the P90X clutch that came on the 2021 models and replaces it with a more proven design that can handle more horsepower and still not fail.
To swap to this clutch you need the P90X puller tool to remove the stock clutch, and the mounting bolt to put on the new clutch. Both are included.
The needed weights and springs are already in the clutch!
The only downfall on these has nothing to do with the function of it, but rather a sound. They tick at idle (when under 2200 rpm) by design for the same reason the OEM RZR Turbo clicks at idle. It is because the spider moves freely in the clutch basket by design, unlike the OEM clutch that it's replacing.
